Ms. Aminata B. Dumbuya is a change agent and a social entrepreneur passionate about energy access and the use of distributed renewable energy (DRE) to achieving universal energy access goals. As the National Campaign Director for Power for All in Sierra Leone, she advocates for and supports the building of the energy access ecosystem and pioneers market activation initiatives with Government and the Private Sector to accelerate the adoption of DRE in Sierra Leone.
She is also a Partner and National Project Manager for Masada Waste Management Company SL LTD, a waste management and conversion company.
Her project, The Masada Waste Transformers, (a JV between Masada Waste Management and The Waste Transformers), emerged as both the finalists and runner up at this Year’s PFAN-West African Clean Climate Financing Business competition in Abidjan in April and The Women in Clean Energy competition in Vienna in May respectively for its sound ready for investment business plan on a 6 mega watt WTE technology to be deployed in Freetown Sierra Leone on a socially inclusive model.
Ms. Dumbuya is also the CEO and proprietor of BSI SL Ltd (Provider of Serviced & Virtual Offices and Business Consultancy Services to investors coming into Sierra Leone since 2011) and Pinnacle Marketing Consulting Firm ( Provider of Marketing communications and advertising services since 2008) in Sierra Leone.
She has extensive experience in working directly with both the private and public sectors and brings a strong track record of proven project delivery, communications, a demonstrated ability to build relationships, and a clear passion for distributed renewable energy. She has over 15 years experience in business, consulting, advocacy and marketing, with qualifications from the London School of Business and Finance as well as San Diego State University.
